Few Insights / Analysis from this dashboard :

  • By looking from the 1st - Table visualization, it displays us the pay rate per hour of every employee in descending manner.
  • From the Bar chart which is 2nd visualization, we can conclude that most of the employees are hired for or belong to Production Technician position which possibly tells us that our company data might be fore some SaaS / cloud based consulting company which mainly deals with cloud solutions and that's the reason why this position has the most hiring.
  • From 3rd visualization which is Donut chart, we can conclude that the gender ratio is properly maintained in the company.
  • From 4th visualization which is a Time - series chart, we can conclude that the hiring reached up to the peak in Q1 2015 which tells us that might be during this time the company got some additional projects to work on and they have scaled up their hiring to fulfill employee requirement. But coming all the way till the end, by Q2 2017, employee count decreased as there might be again lesser requirement as per the projects available to the company, and in this mid time period, there might have lay-off happened in the company as well.
  • From 5th visualization which is a Bar chart, which shows us the employee number working under different managers. From this we can conclude that the most number of employees are managed by managed names 'Elijiah Gray' and the number is comparatively pretty good.
  • From 6th visualization which is a Tree map, which shows us the percentage of employees coming from different recruitment sources. From this we can conclude that employees are mostly getting hired in majority from top 2 sources which are Employee referral and Search engine - Google Bing Yahoo.
  • Also we have some scorecards depicted at the top, which tells us the total employees hired till now, the current number of working employees and what's their avg. feedback satisfaction rating and the sum of current employee's pay/rate per hour.

These were the few insights that can be drawn from the data which is shown in dashboard. We can go ahead and play around with different controls and filters inside it to get even more deeper insights of data by applying various desired filters and obtain the result accordingly. For example we can filter each of the visualizations department wise to see within department what is the statistics or maybe we can see all the stats of a specific time duration.
